Scotland international Gallagher was signed in the summer of 2022 by Stephen Robinson after Jim Goodwin allowed him to leave Aberdeen on a free transfer. Adding great presence to the back 3, the commanding centre back is also very comfortable with the ball and has been a leading defender in the Premiership for several years after being promoted with Livingston in 2018.

After starting his career at Celtic, Gallagher has also had spells at Clyde, Dundee, Livingston and Motherwell as well as gaining 9 Scotland caps.
